Learn more about us
  • What to Expect

Our service is a traditional worship service that lasts about 60 minutes. We worship God through song and prayer, and as we hear, apply, and respond to God's Word. We use the United Methodist Hymnals and project the songs, prayers, and scripture onto the wall so you can sing along and worship however you feel most comfortable. We strive to ensure that all who attend our worship services feel enriched, empowered, and armed with the Word of God as they go out into the world to do God's work.

  • What time should I arrive?

You’ll want to arrive 10-15 minutes before service so you have plenty of time to park and get settled in before the service begins.

  • Where do I park?

Handicapped and regular parking spaces are  available in front of the church. Our lower lot, accessible via our driveway between the church and the Masonic Lodge, includes 27 additional parking spaces.

On Sundays and at times when local business are closed, we also use these parking lots:

    Masonic Lodge

    Hollywood Rec Center

Extra Space Storage (do not block their driveway)

    Dean Home Center

    Prep & Play

The wide shoulder of Mervell Dean Road also provides us with street parking.

Please use caution when crossing Mervell Dean Road on foot.

  • Do you offer Communion?

We offer communion on the first Sunday of each month and on additional Sundays throughout the year. Our communion liturgy begins with words spoken on Jesus' behalf, inviting "all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin, and seek to live in peace with one another."

  • What do you offer for my kids?

We welcome children in worship. However, we realize that sitting in the sanctuary for the full worship service can be challenging for our children, who learn more effectively through movement, crafts, and age-relevant Bible Stories. We invite our kids, from Pre-K through 5th Grade, to join our Children's Ministry Team for their own Sunday morning Bible exploration.

Children begin the worship service with their parents and are dismissed to Sunday School after the pastor's children's moment.

A nursery is also available for infants and toddlers. Ask one of our ushers for directions to the nursery.

Sunday School and the nursery are optional. Children are always welcome in our worship services, whether they are sleeping, crying, giggling, babbling, playing, or wailing!

Our Nursery and Sunday School volunteers have been trained in our Safe Sanctuary program and have undergone background checks.

  • Do I need to dress up?

We hope you come to church in whatever makes you feel comfortable. We care more about you and your relationship with Jesus than what you look like. Our only request is that you do wear clothes.
